Aerial Video Guys is based in the Cotswolds; the heart of the transport network for the South, London and all points West and North. With footholds in the North of the UK and Scotland we cover the whole of the UK. With notice, and the appropriate permissions, we can undertake overseas assignments.
We produce high quality, powerful images; whether technical building photography for architects and construction professionals, or creative marketing photography for design agencies. The key to successful aerial imagery, more so than regular property photography, is the quality of the light. We carefully plan our flights, to take advantage of the light on fine weather days, to ensure that our results are stunning.
Jake Sugden
A former Naval Officer, Jake trained as a documentary photographer and is one of the UK’s leading drone photographers. Since founding his photographic businesses he has established a reputation for discretion and sensitivity, as well as producing compelling corporate and aerial images. He is retained as a photographer by Their Royal Highnesses the Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall, as well as a number of household-name clients and organisations.
I specialise in creating first-class photographic content for clients who require attention-grabbing images and a compelling visual story for their brand or organisation.
After leaving the Royal Navy I trained as a documentary photographer. I have since expanded my expertise to become one of the UK’s leading aerial photographers, always seeking a different viewpoint and more creative ways to tell brand stories and record occasions and events.
I believe that photography is about people, not equipment, and that capturing the perfect image requires sensitivity, discretion and the ability to observe and record detail, as well as technical skill. For this reason, my client base, which includes household names and organisations, tends to remain with me, including Their Royal Highnesses, The Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall, who have retained my services as a photographer for the past five years.
